ABOUT

Verity is a filmmaker based in Sydney, Australia. She holds a Bachelor of Communication (Media) from RMIT University with a distinction average and has previously studied filmmaking at SAE Institute. During her studies, she completed a three month internship with Screen Actors Australia, where she filmed and edited screen tests, auditions, promotional videos as well as worked in post-production.
She has worked in various film and administration positions, including companies such as Ocean Watch, Bingo Industries and Kobu Collective. She has also created a 15 minute experimental film for a Melbourne Fringe show, worked as a Assistant Producer and Director at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre (2020), an administration intern for the Melbourne Queer Film Festival (2020) and been a panelist at the St Kilda Film Festival for Under The Radar (2019). She has also created music videos for local musicians including Robert Baxter (2019) and Fierce Mild (2016).

She is now focused on events; shooting weddings and also decorating for Bangin Hangins. Venues and clients include Altar Electric, Grounds of Alexandria, Cargo Bar, Afterpay and Mecca.
She is proficient in shooting and editing on both analog and digital mediums, with her key areas of interest being documentaries, music videos and events. She is also skilled in graphic design and set design.
